Author, speaker, and recovering over-achiever. Violette writes and speaks about intentional living for people who are brilliant at everything except slowing down.

About Violette

Violette Lambert spent the first decade of her career certain that the next achievement would finally be the one that let her rest. It never was. After burning out at thirty-four, she left a job that looked perfect on paper and moved to a small village in the French countryside, where she started writing the book she wished someone had handed her years earlier.

Three books later, she writes and speaks about intentional living for people who are brilliant at everything except slowing down. She still gets it wrong regularly, which she says is rather the point.

The life I have now is the one I almost worked too hard to notice.

Energetics coaching

Beyond the books, Violette works one to one with a small number of clients each year, helping them build a way of working that doesn't quietly cost them their health. Part strategy, part permission, these sessions are for people ready to stop measuring their worth in hours. Spaces are limited and open only a few times a year.

A personal note

Here's the thing I leave out of the official bio: I'm not naturally good at any of this. I'm a lifelong over-doer who still has to physically leave my phone in another room to stop working. The slow life didn't come to me easily. I built it on purpose, one stubborn boundary at a time.

If you're reading this and quietly panicking that rest might mean falling behind, I wrote all of it for you. Start wherever you are. That's all any of us can do.
